Jason Keller is the owner and operator of Fit as a Fighter Fitness. He received his Fitness leadership diploma from Hilltop Academy and is a BCRPA certified personal trainer. Jason has been a personal trainer, a fitness manager and now a business owner. He has had the opportunity to work with pro/amateur athletes, musicians and movie stars and people with all walks of life with one common goal, RESULTS.
Jason not only has experience as a trainer but as an athlete in the sports of MMA and boxing and currently male physique. These experiences have helped shape his style of training and helped him to create his company Fit as a Fighter Fitness. Training with Jason doesn't mean you have to be a MMA fighter you just need to have a fighting spirit to help get you the results you desire, and it means you will be as Fit as a Fighter.
Fit as a Fighter Fitness is a private personal training studio that takes clients through periodized training programs and works with them on understanding how to properly mange their nutrition. In the weight sensitive combat sports world Jason specialized in weight loss and weight gain. Robbyn Feragen graduated from the University of British Columbia with her Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health in 2016.
Robbyn has had experience with food and nutrition at the production level, as she grew up on a farm. She understands the importance of bringing food from the farm to your plate as naturally as possible. This sprung a passion and thirst for knowledge in food and health.
Robbyns goal is to educate and empower people with knowledge regarding what nutrition their body needs to succeed with individual goals. She would like people to have an understanding of food and how it directly affects your every day life.

HOW IT WORKS
1 Enter your information. Name, date of birth,address, phone number, credit card info to put on file if ordering online or bring your completed order form to Curb Your Appetite at 3660 18th avenue place your order and pay cash or debit. (Order forms available at Acitive Body or Curb your Appetite)
2 Enter your age, height, weight and sex in BMR calculator (explanation of BMR Below)
3 Choose to maintain (keep calories the same) lose weight (remove 500 calories) or gain (add 500 calories) our calculator will subtract/add calories.
4 Aim for 3 meals and a couple snacks per day. Chose meal option one or meal option two, snacks or overnight oats. Both meal options have choice of protein and carbohydrates plus seasonal vegetables or asparagus. Overnight oats and snacks are separate. Payment for meals will be processed from credit card on file before they are produced.
5 Orders placed before Sunday at 12 noon will be ready for pickup
between 245 and 5 pm on Tuesday Orders placed before Wednesday at 12 noon will be ready for pick up between 245 and 5 pm on Friday.

What Is BMR?
BMR stands for basal metabolic rate and represents the number of calories you would burn in a day if you were inactive and stayed in bed all day. Our BMR calculator allows you to calculate not only the number of calories you burn when inactive but also a daily calorie figure that takes into account your lifestyle activity level. These two figures together give you a representative figure for your daily calorie intake. The BMR tool uses two formulas to calculate figures:
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR): This formula takes basic variables such as your age, weight and height and provides you with the number of calories you might burn each day if you were inactive for that day.
Harris Benedict Formula: We use the original Harris Benedict Formula to calculate your daily calorie burn based upon your activity level. The calculation is fairly straight forward, taking your BMR and multiplying it by a set figure based on how active you are.
Using these equations, our calculator can provide you with an accurate gauge of your daily calorie burn. Do bear in mind that the one thing this method omits is lean body mass, which will obviously have a factor of its own. Very muscular people, for example, with receive a figure that probably under-estimates their calorie needs and very overweight people will get a calculation that over-estimates their calorie requirements.
